Think and create

How Art Influences the Brain

Each time we look at a piece of art, the 100 billion neurons in our brain are working to make sense of the visual information it is receiving.  As we paint and look at the art we create, our brains are stimulated and puts our innate knack for organizing patterns together and makes sense of the shapes and colors. Our ability to build new pathways by just painting is giving us a new experience every stroke we take.  Follow along step by step, while adding your take to the painting being taught. Just 1 hr a day, you can release chemicals that will help you to focus on your  well being through art and nature.  Step out of your daily tasks and use art as therapy to live longer.

Say what you want, out loud, without fear

Instead of keeping it quiet, share your ideas and dreams with the people you trust. Some things should not be shared, but your intuition will guide you as you trust yourself more, with the thoughts that give you energy. Most people don’t reach for their full potential until its too late. Don’t let that be you. Reading books can help guide you: Here are a list of books that have changed my life.

The Art of Wine

Discovering that to divulge fully into an art session, wine helps. In moderation and with like-minded people, you will find that everything you create is a unique masterpiece.

Art of Wine experience offers a unique and enriching opportunity for your guests by combining the enjoyment of your fine wines with the creative expression of art. We believe this synergistic approach will enhance guest satisfaction, increase dwell time, and foster a more memorable and engaging visit. As you continue to host your regular wine tastings and tours, providing guests with an exceptional introduction to your
wines and winery, we provide guided painting sessions inspired by the vineyard, the winemaking process, or the surrounding scenery.

UPDATE: I traveled to Tuscany on April 25-30 and what an amazing journey it was. Endless wine tasting, 5 course meals and amazing friendships created. Tenuta Torciano Winery, where I taught this painting, is the oldest winery in Italy. Started in 1720, with 17 generations, it is still producing wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar that will leave your tastebuds wanting more and more. You can order online here: www.torciano.com

I left this original painting with the hotel we stayed at. It is their own family run bed&breakfast that is beautifully kept with amazing service and food, located just down the street from the vineyard. I hope they hang it in the foyer for everyone to enjoy. This painting reminds me of a combination of their boutique hotel and their winery. I am grateful for this opportunity and hope to return again one day to teach an art class in the future. Big thanks for our travel specialist Jenn Hilchey. You can book amazing vacations with her on her main website : www.winetravelbyjennhilchey.com
